You can replace 1/3 c. of oil or shortening with 1c. of milled flaxseed for a 3:1 ratio. Eggs can also be replaced in your favorite cookies, pancakes and muffin recipes. Replace every egg with 1 t. of milled flax and 3 T. of water. Mix the flaxseed and water in a small bowl and sit for 2 minutes.
