Cranberry Flaxseed Milkshakes

Make 1 cup of simple syrup – dissolve 1 c. of sugar in 1 c. of water. Cook until clear

Cook 3 c. of cranberries with the simple syrup.  When the cranberries start to pop – when most of them have popped you will know they are done.  Let cool for a few hours in the fridge.  Add milk, ice cream, flaxseeds and the cranberries together in a blender until smooth and Enjoy!

A great side benefit of this recipe is that your house will smell wonderful from the cranberries!
