Bright and early Sunday morning, September 27th crowds of people turned up at the Justin Herman Plaza in San Francisco, CA on the Embarcadero. The weather was beautiful for the Susan G. Komen Race For the Cure where thousands and thousands participated to raise money for the fight against breast cancer.

Flaxmatters.com sponsored the event and was present during the Health & Fitness exhibit before, during and after the race to share information on how flax can work to fight the risk or hormonal cancers such as breast cancer. Participants registered to win for a Flax For Your Health basket which will be given away in October. If you were present at the event, there is still time to register.
